The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in an LA Vehicle Accident

The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in California he was 55 years old.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.

The renowned video game developer died after his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.

"This is an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
