Large-scale Moscow's Strikes Cut Electricity In Ukraine's Capital

Power facilities under attack in the region
The country's power facilities have come under increased strikes in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to power cuts in large parts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Several individuals were hurt while inhabitants in the city's east were experienced blackouts and dealt with disruption to water supplies, as stated by city officials.

At the same time, a minor was killed in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, according to regional authorities.

Moscow has intensified assaults on electrical systems over the past few days, while officials has called for "concrete actions" from allies to exert influence on Russia.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but decisive action - from the United States, the EU and the major economies - in supplying defensive weapons and applying penalties," was stated in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and several dozen rockets attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as the weather cools.

Government representatives said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were laboring to restore power.

A wave of strikes struck electrical systems and civilian homes in Kyiv.

Several of the people wounded in the attacks on the city have been taken to hospital, according to city authorities.

Area administrators said the city came under significant strikes during nighttime hours. A seven-year-old child lost their life and multiple civilians were wounded.

The attacks succeed nights of aerial attacks in the territory, parts of which are occupied by invading troops.

The entire country is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are more difficult to detect.

Government officials told the media that Russia was purposely seeking to destroy the country's energy grid, with assaults already disrupting energy systems.

He said technical personnel and officials were bracing for further attacks.
